Hear and Now project 2020

Through the lockdown period of the pandemic Tibbs Dementia Foundation continued to work with partners from the Philharmonia Orchestra, Fusion Youth Choir and new partners from Leicester’s Musical Memory Box and De Montfort University. We quickly adapted to enjoy a new online zoom collaboration under the leadership of musical director Time Steiner and filmed by Jessie Rodger. The film was a culmination of many months of working together as we lived and supported each other through lockdown and used this musical collaboration as an outlet to express our feelings about the pandemic, to connect with others and continue to live hopefully. This is a record of those days and shows how music continues to transform our lives, how we can all learn to adapt and to create, and how our sense of community remained strong throughout.
